CompareaccessiBe & AudioEye

Clearpath vs accessiBe & AudioEye

accessiBe and AudioEye work mostly on the live site, with a script and, in AudioEye's managed plans, expert fixes. Clearpath works earlier: it scans every deploy against WCAG 2.2 AA in CI and files the fix as an issue, so the code itself gets fixed.

Best fitSites without engineering capacity to fix codeTeams that ship code and want regressions blocked

Where accessiBe & AudioEye is better

  • Nothing to change in your codebase to get started — a script goes on the live site
  • AudioEye's managed plans include expert audits and custom-written fixes done for you
  • Coverage of content your engineers never touch, such as CMS pages edited by marketing
  • Vendor-run monitoring of the production site, not only of code in a pipeline

Where Clearpath is better

  • Regressions are caught in the pull request, before they ship
  • Findings are issues with the selector, the WCAG rule, and the fix — not a compliance score
  • Priced by scans and projects, not by how many people visit your site
  • A dated, exportable record of every scan for your legal team

So which one

Choose accessiBe & AudioEye if…

Choose AudioEye's managed plans if you have no engineers to fix issues and want experts to do it for you. Before relying on any automated tool alone, note that in April 2025 the US FTC finalised an order barring accessiBe from claiming its automated product makes sites WCAG-compliant without evidence to support it.

Choose Clearpath if…

Choose Clearpath if your team ships code and wants accessibility treated like any other test: checked on every pull request, fixed at the source, and documented with dated evidence.
