Customer materials
Customers retain ownership of their data, trademarks, content, existing code, designs, documentation, and other materials supplied to ResoluteX. They grant only the permission needed to perform the agreed work.
Custom deliverables
For a Build Sprint or custom engagement, ownership or licence of the agreed work product is stated in the signed scope. Unless that scope says otherwise, customer-specific code, deployment assets, and documentation are handed over after payment.
Repositories are customer-controlled wherever practical so the customer can inspect progress and retain the work if the relationship ends.
Pre-existing ResoluteX material
Methods, reusable components, product code, templates, know-how, and tools created independently of the engagement remain ResoluteX or third-party material. When they are included in a deliverable, the agreement states the licence needed for the customer to use, operate, and maintain the result.
Products and managed services
Each product page states whether the offer is open source, source included, managed cloud, or a service. Buying implementation or hosting does not silently change the underlying product licence, and cancelling a managed service does not create rights that were not granted in the order form.
Open-source and third-party components
Open-source software remains governed by its own licence. Third-party services, fonts, media, models, libraries, and data remain subject to their providers' terms. ResoluteX records material dependencies and avoids representing third-party rights as customer-exclusive IP.
Confidentiality and public references
Confidential information is used only for the agreed purpose. A customer name, logo, testimonial, case study, or project detail is published only when there is permission to do so. Team experience and customer evidence are labelled separately.
Website, brand, and feedback
The ResoluteX name, marks, website design, and original site content may not be copied or presented as another company's work. Product and company names belonging to others remain their owners' property.
Feedback may be used to improve an offer, but it does not give ResoluteX ownership of a customer's confidential information or product strategy.
Questions or concerns
Send an IP question or a notice about potentially unauthorised material to engineering@resolutexhq.com with the work, owner, location, and requested action. We will review the notice and may ask for evidence of authority.
